supergloom is a Los Angeles based shoegaze/dream-pop band with indie and noise-rock influences, lead and created by Shane Graham with Drew Aron and Ian Stahl. Their latest release, "Kingfisher", out April 22nd, is the second single from their debut album, to be released in the Fall of 2025. The song combines explosive nu-gaze with indie pop sensibilities, mixing Elliot Smith's vulnerability with My Bloody Valentine's wall of sound. With vocal harmonies throughout the song, "Kingfisher" captures a dreamy headstate fused with heart-pounding guitars. The track was recorded by Jason Rhodes (New Order & Oasis) and mastered by Will Borza (Deftones, Narrow Head).
The band is known for their loud and energetic live shows, with notable mentions from Buzzbands.LA and Grimy Goods as a band to keep an eye on. supergloom have shared the stage with many great acts,
including The Veldt, Holy Wave, Mint Field, and Vinyl Williams. The band recently embarked on their first tour in August 2024 and has performed at Echo Park Rising (Los Angeles), the Tremolo Festival (Seattle), the Lodge Room (LA), and many other venues throughout the west coast. They have received airplay from Z107.7FM, Buzzbands 88.5FM, KCSN and KXLU and have been written up by New Noise, Atwood Magazine and Post-Punk.
